THE TOURNAMENT HISTORY

SUPER-BOWLing Saturday was established in 2012 by the First A.M.E. Church Manassas, "Sons of Allen" Men's Ministry.  Under the leadership of Reverend Ronald A. Boykin, Pastor, the purpose of this event was to bring men from different walks of life, races, churches and denominations together for an afternoon of fun, fellowship, Christian ministry, and bowling.

The Inaugural Northern VA Bowling Championship, “NVABC 2012” was the exciting result of that simple objective. With over forty men bowling, along with spectators, family, and friends cheering them on, it is safe to say that God did “exceedingly abundantly” above what we asked or realistically thought possible for our first tournament. In addition, cross-denominational relationships were established which actively exist today, directly attributed to NVABC 2012.
